Visiting Mum

Visiting Mum identifies Welsh women who are risk of losing contact with their children and offers specialist support to preserve and strengthen these vital family ties.

In partnership with Change Grow Live, specially trained volunteers provide emotional support to the women’s children and families in the community.

Together a Chance

The Together a Chance pilot project employs two prison-based social workers to support mothers in HMPs Send and Eastwood Park.

They offer intensive one-to-one support for women, empowering them to engage in matters involving their child, speak for themselves at court, and to understand processes and how to work with them.
